Buyer must read and agree to all terms of this contract.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS In accordance to the contract agreement, the following apply: 1. The purchase price of this Pit Bull of is to be paid in full by 7 weeks of age, if full balance has not been paid seller has the right to re-sell said puppy.
2. (Health Guarantee) This Pit is guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of serious infection, disease or defect at time of purchase. In returning this Pit Bull there will be required a signed and notarized statement from a licensed veterinarian stating the breed, age, history of care, and diagnosis. Upon this proof there will be additional opportunity to have the Pit Bull examined by a veterinarian of the sellers choosing. If a dispute arises after examination from sellers chosen veterinarian both buyer and seller will have the opportunity to mutually choose a third party veterinarian and be present upon examination to help resolve said dispute. Initial transport of this Pit Bull back to the seller will be at the cost of the buyer.
3. This Pit Bull is registered (or) has the opportunity to be registered with ADBA or UKC.
4. The new owner seller will retain the responsibility of completing all necessary registration information.
5. This Pit Bull will be examined within 3 days of delivery to buyer by a qualified veterinarian or the health guarantee is void. Exchange or refund will not be required due to sustained injury, environmental health exposure leading to illness, neglect or abuse or common health or skin conditions that apply to blue coat colored pit bulls and dogs from a background of blue coat colored pit bulls. If returned upon examination seller has the right to maintain this Pit Bull in quarantine at the expense of the buyer for a period of two weeks with any associated costs being deducted from the original purchase price.
6. Adequate and responsible confinement will be provided by buyer to prevent escape, harassment by or possible injury to the general community and in order to assist in the positive promotion of the Pit Bull breed and its
responsible ownership.
7. Buyer agrees to provide adequate food, water, shelter, exercise, health care, and socialization. Enrollment into obedience training has been recommended to help the buyer in understanding effective means of communicating with this Pit Bull. Participation in micro chipping, and or tattooing has been encouraged to help insure return to owner in the event of this Pit Bull becomes lost or stolen.
8. Buyer agrees to provide updates to seller on the health and well being of this Pit Bull and pictures are also expected after they reach maturity.
*9. Buyer agrees to first consult the seller in the event that the purchaser cannot keep the Pit Bull before selling it or taking it to a shelter, pound, rescue, or any other animal welfare organization for turn-in with the understanding that such a return does not constitute refund in whole or part. If seller is unable to accept the Pit Bull the owner will do their best to re-home the Pit Bull with a new responsible owner before opting to turn this Pit Bull into any shelter, pound, rescue or animal welfare organization. If such a home is unable to be found in a reasonable period of time owner will do their best to locate a no-kill rescue or shelter who can accept this Pit Bull there will be a fine in the amount of the purchasing price if buyer fails to comply with these procedures.
10. Buyer has been made aware of almost certain euthanasia of this Pit Bull if it is turned into a shelter, rescue, or other animal welfare organization and of the unfriendly nature many such organizations have in regards to this breed.
11. Buyer will notify seller, and all organizations that this Pit Bull is registered through, prior to selling it to a third party.
12. In the interest of bettering the Pit Bull breed owner will notify seller and all registering organizations of life threatening or disabling disease or defects during its lifetime. Such disease or defects include but are not limited to cancer, hip elbow or other orthopedic issues, heart or other internal organ conditions, cataracts, infertility, birthing difficulty, offspring with birth defects, mental disorders, etc.
13. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but are transferable. No money will be returned at anytime to buyers.
14. Any knowledge of Buyer or Buyers fighting or cruelty to the purchased pit bull or being previously convicted of fighting Pit Bulls or animal cruelty, the purchased animal must be returned to Seller immediately. Buyer must pay all fees of the returning process and (or) any additional medical, trauma, and (or) rehabilitation that is required for the pit bull purchased. If buyer can not send pit bull back to seller the animal must be giving to the nearest no-kill shelter.
15. If the puppy being purchased was part of an outhouse breeding that Lagua’s Blue Pits may have provided a stud for or agreed to advertise the puppies on www.Laguasbluepits.webs.com the health guarantee is void. The health guarantee is void because Lagua’s Blue Pits did not oversee the Dam during her pregnancy we merely provided a service either a stud or agreed to advertise them on or website therefore we cannot guarantee the health of the pups since they were not under our care. Although Lagua’s Blue Pits will not sell a puppy knowing that something major is wrong with the puppy. Seller only gives health guarantees to puppies that were bred & whelped exclusively by Lagua’s Blue Pits and overseen the entire time during pregnancy.
Lagua’s Blue Pits Reserve the Right to Refuse Service to Anyone at Anytime!
